Another well attended ceremony this year despite the weather forecast; many local people turned out as well as the usual contingents from the Military College, The French Parachutist Association, the Pompiers and the Pompiers Cadets. Even after so many years and several generations, the general feeling of gratitude and sorrow for the loss of these brave men pervades this event and many people linger after the event to pay their respects to these young soldiers.
